Tsomoriri Lake lays 210kms to the south-east of Leh. You need at least 2 days to visit this lake and be back to Leh. The route passes from Upshi to Mahe along the river Indus from where it diverges to Korzok. Korzok is a small village that lies on the shores of the Lake.
The village has accommodation facilities including homestays and Swiss tents. The Lake also forms wetland where camping is a major attraction. On the way back, one can reroute towards another small lake called Tsokar Lake. The route then diverges to Debring and Tanglung La, the second highest motorable pass of the world, thereafter.
